An attempt has also been made to focus how far the Parliament of the UK is sovereign by analyzing the tensions among the domestic law passed by the Parliament of the UK and the European Convention on Human Rights Law and the European Community Law.

About the author










Srabani, licensed as an Advocate/Attorney, is a Programme Officer at the South Asian Institute of Advanced Legal and Human Rights Studies in Dhaka; earned Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Stamford University Bangladesh; studying for another Master Degree in Victimology and Restorative Justice in the University of Dhaka.
