He is also the lead in Emergency Nursing in the school, and is a module leader of the Paramedic programme. He has been part of a team that has lead to the successful development of the Diploma (HE) pre-registration programme for paramedics undertaken in liaison with the Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust (WAST). He is a member of the Association of Advanced Nurse Practitioners (AANPE) and the Welsh Emergency Departments Federation (WEDFed).
