Cheré Dastugue Coen is an award-winning journalist, instructor, playwright, travel writer and author. A native of New Orleans, Cheré now makes her home in Lafayette, Louisiana. Her books include Exploring Cajun Country and the cookbook travelogue Cooking in Cajun Country.
