About the author
Tony Chen is a Medical graduate of the University of Melbourne and a surgical resident and registrar at Royal Melbourne, Austin and Northern Hospitals. After founding the Surgical Student Society of Melbourne, Tony along with his colleagues started writing this book after requests from medical students for a better standard of anatomy study guide. Tony has published and won awards in research for pure anatomy. He was a tutor and lecturer of anatomy and neuroanatomy at University of Melbourne, St Hildas college, Australian Catholic University and an anatomy dissection demonstrator at University of Melbourne. Tony has a passion for student education including acting as a Junior Medical Officer education committee member at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and as the education officer and treasurer of the International Medical Student Society. Tony has had many leadership roles, including the Victoria representative for the Regional Advisory Council of the Victorian Multicultural Commission, Faculty Board member of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Melbourne, board member of the Community Advisory Committee of Eastern Health and board member of the Quality Committee of Angliss Hospital.
