About the author

Robert Doisneau, geboren am 14. April 1912, war ein französischer Fotograf der vor allem für seine Szenen aus dem Pariser Stadtleben berühmt ist. Er war gelernter Graveur und arbeitete später als Werksfotograf, ab 1952 war er als freischaffender Künstler tätig.
