He's over eight hundred years old, and many believe that Master Vampire Max D'Angelo is the first of his race. He's feared and respected in the vampire community. However, Max comes under suspicion of murdering the young men he had sex with. Even though the master vampire had an alibi for the time when each victim was murdered, the two detectives on the case are hell-bent on pinning the murders on him.
The victims all resemble Max's beloved, Kieran McCormick. However, it's Kieran's best friend who gets attacked and lands in the hospital, where he's in for the fight of his life. To top it all off, a long-lost family member, who's suspected to have slaughtered Max's parents, turns up unexpectedly.
When Kieran becomes the target of a serial killer, Max, and his three brothers-in-arms need to do all they can to keep the love of his life safe.
More family members and some enemies come to town, and one is carrying a dark secret, something that will shake Max to the core.
The murderer of Max's parents is in town, as is a serial killer who has set his eye on Kieran. Max faces betrayal of the worst kind. He also must deal with a serial killer and keep Kieran's friends safe.
The master vampire becomes entangled in a net of deceit and intrigue. Who can he still trust?

I always say that there isn't much to tell about me. In 2020, right before the Corona pandemic, my husband and I moved back from Germany to the Netherlands. I love to write stories, and it's still a learning process, as it's with many things.
I like traveling and taking care of Emma, my doggie. Also, I would like more spare time to read, but all my time is divided between my regular job, writing stories, and Emma.
I've been a vegetarian for many years now and never regretted it. Also, I despise people who wear fur. It's disgusting! I will never understand people who help keep maintaining this awful industry of torturing and killing animals.
I like to cook and love to try new recipes; it's how I learned that nearly every dish can be served with meat substitutes.
My husband and I spend the winters in beautiful Spain, where the temperatures are pleasant. Even so, it's Italy that's still my favorite country.
