Surimposium is a theory of complex reality. It does not seek to shake up existing paradigms, even when they are contradictory. It places them in levels of reality of relative independence. The task is then to link them with a metaprincipe keeping everything monistic. From this principle, Surimposium establishes a continuity of information levels from hardware to virtual. Their staged complexity continues into the processing depth of neural networks. A stack of layers of information that I call "surimposed" mimics other parts of the complex dimension to build a representation. Subject and model have their own reality. Shift is the root of intention.

With Surimposium, scientific readers can grasp their own way of seeing reality, instead of just being that way. Philosophers confirms their conviction that phenomena are as real as their ontology. True monism is to unify the real and the virtual.

Über den Autor / die Autorin

Jean-Pierre Legros is a rheumatologist born in Paris in 1960, currently practicing in Noumea, New Caledonia. He created Rhumatopratique, a reference french website on rheumatology, and several blogs on the human sciences. Since 2010, he has developed a unifying theory of the mind, aimed at jointly satisfying the neuroscientific and philosophical approaches. It is a hierarchical, self-organized conception of the mind called Stratium. Its use is particularly useful for medical care, separating the different levels of information about a disease or suffering, from biological to self-awareness.

Jean-Pierre Legros then extended this theory of mental complexity to the rest of observable reality, to make it a continuity of the complex dimension, around a meta-principle, the T<>D. It is about the conflict, in everything, between its individualizing part (the T of soliTary) and its collectivizing part (the D of soliDary). In Surimposium, a book devoid of any mysticism, the birth of this metaprincipe is shown in elementary physical processes.
