Prima di finire questo breve studio sulle artiglierie è necessario ricordare una nuova invenzione: le polveri senza fumo, che mano mano le nazioni stanno adottando. Noi ab biamo accennato ai grandi inconvenienti del fumo, che rende difficile la punteria e la manovra, perciò non avremo molto da dire per dimostrare il vantaggio di questo nuovo esplosivo.
