The want ofa small work serving as a guide to this Capital and its environs has long been feltand complained of by British visitors to Lisbon. The following Stran gcr's Guide is intended to supply in some measure this desideratum. - The object is to form such a compendium of the history, curiosities, antiquities and topography of Lisbon, as may combine accurate and ample information with suitable brevity.
