Keller (goom - mom), claveciniste dis tingué, né en Allemagne, se fixa a Londres, vers le commencement du dix - huitième siècle. Il parait avoir joui en Angleterre d'une bril lante renommée, car au titre d'un traité d'ac co -1pagnement publié après sa mort, il est appelé The late famous M. G. Keller. On connait sous son nom 1° 6 sonate a cinque, cioé 5 a 2 violini, tromba o oboe, viola e continua, Londres, 1710, Amsterdam, Roger, ln - fol. 2° 6 sonate a 2 ¿auti e basse continuo, Amsterdam, Roger. Cet ouvrage ne fut publié qu'après sa mort. 5° A complete Method of attaining to a thorough-bass upon either organ, harpsichord, or theorbo-lute, by the late famous Ill. Godfrey Keller; with a va riety of proper lessons and fugues, explain ing the several rules throughout the whole work; and a scale for tuning the harpsi chord or spinet; all taken from his own co pies, which he did design to print (méthode complète pour apprendre à accompagner la basse continue sur l'orgue, le clavecin, ou le theorm-luth, par feu le célèbre M. Godefroid Relier, Londres, John Cullen, 1707, ñu-4° obl. Cette édition, remplie de fautes dans les exemples notés, est toute gravée. Il y en a une autre intitulée simplement Rules or a compleat Method for attaining to playing a thoroughbass, Londres (sans date), ln-l'ol.
