Excerpt from The Dental Annual, 1903: A Year-Book of Dental Surgery; The Practitioner's Guide to the Literature and Resources of Dentistry; A Bibliography and Subject-Index Under One Alphabet of Professional and Related Scientific and Technical Work in English Published During the Year
In collating the greatest possible number of references to all who have written on any subject during the year, the Editor has, where it seemed possible and useful in the limits of available Space, brie¿y summarized the matter, without adding the authority of expert collaborators, the only exception to this being the valuable monograph on anaesthetics kindly contributed by Mr. H. Bellamy Gardner, Anaesthetist and Instructor at the Charing Cross Hospital.
In compiling the sections on Education, the best procedure for complying with the requirements of the qualifying bodies, and the particulars Of schools, hospitals, and societies, acknowledgment is due to the Editors and proprietors of those journals, periodicals, and calendars which have been consulted and collated.
