Paul Bright wurde in Hertfordshire, England geboren. Während er für ein großes Chemie-Unternehmen als Experte für Kunststoffe arbeitet, folgt er in seiner Freizeit einer anderen Leidenschaft: dem Schreiben. Als seine eigenen Kinder noch klein waren, begann er, sich Geschichten für sie auszudenken und schrieb sie mit Begeisterung auf. Und jetzt, obwohl seine Kinder mittlerweile erwachsen sind, erfindet er einfach weiter Geschichten.
Brian Sibley ist ein anerkannter Tolkien-Kenner und war Berater bei den Dreharbeiten zu dem Film "Der Herr der Ringe".
Jeanne Willis wurde in St. Albans, Großbritannien, geboren und arbeitete mehrere Jahre in Werbeagenturen. Heute lebt sie als freischaffende Schriftstellerin zusammen mit ihrem Mann und ihren beiden Kindern im Norden Londons. Neben Kinder- und Jugendbüchern hat sie auch Drehbücher fürs Fernsehen geschrieben.
Kate Saunders war Schauspielerin, bevor sie zu schreiben begann. Sie arbeitet als Journalistin für diverse große Zeitungen und ist auch häufig im Rundfunk als Moderatorin zu hören.
Mark Burgess is associate professor at Oslo University College, Norway, and a member of SAGE, USENIX and the IEEE. He is an internationally respected scientist both in Computer Science and the Theoretical Physics and has won various prizes for his work on Computer Immunology and GNU cfengine. He was recently awarded The SAGE 2003 Professional Contribution Award, "For groundbreaking work in systems administration theory and individual contributions to the field".
